It was all about the Loony Tunes this morning – Tom and Jerry 1st Cartoon Premiers (1941)
Tom and Jerry were created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the iconic duo responsible for a whole host of iconic Saturday morning cartoons. First appearing to audiences in the classic short, The Midnight Snack, voiced by Harry E. Lang and Clarence Nash, these duelling enemies became an instant success. In its original run, the Tom and Jerry franchise won 7 Academy Awards for best short animation. Throughout the years audiences have enjoyed a number of spinoffs including a couple of big screen adventures!

Matilda was the film of the day, and looking at Facebook at what you all look at on the large ipad 😜😜
