Alsley Lodge is run by Care Manager, Mrs Lynette Watkinson. Mrs Watkinson holds the Registered Managers Award as well as NVQ 5 in Health and Social Management, alongside her numerous other qualifications. She has over 17 years’ experience in the Social Care Sector starting from a Care assistant to working up the ranks to being a Registered Manager.
Our outstanding care team are also dedicated and highly qualified; all carers have completed or working towards NVQ levels 2 or 3. Senior carers have completed or working towards level 4 or 5. We insist on a high standard of care, so our employees are carefully selected for their qualities of reliability, integrity, skill, friendliness and professionalism. Full induction training is provided and continuing professional development is undertaken by each member of staff. Attentive and compassionate carers are available twenty four hours a day. The high staff resident ratio enables us to provide companionship and stimulation, as well as tending to the residents’ physical needs. We have a low turnover of staff so this provides continuity for residents and their family.
